PIERCING AFTERCARE

    Piercing Aftercare Routine

FIRST, WASH YOUR HANDS WITH TOUCHBYLUCK ANTIBACTERIAL SOAP

Start by thoroughly washing your hands using TouchByLuck Antibacterial Soap. Keeping your hands, clean helps prevent bacteria from transferring to your piercing and supports a smooth, irritation-free healing process.

CLEANSE YOUR PIERCING WITH TOUCHBYLUCK ANTIBACTERIAL SOAP

Apply a small amount of TouchByLuck Antibacterial Soap directly to your piercing. Gently cleanse the area to remove dirt, dried discharge, and buildup while protecting your skin. Avoid twisting or moving the jewelry during cleaning.

RINSE THOROUGHLY FOR A CLEAN, IRRITATION-FREE HEAL

Rinse the area completely with clean water, making sure all soap residue is removed. Proper rinsing helps prevent dryness, irritation, and delayed healing.

SOOTHE & PROTECT WITH TOUCHBYLUCK SALINE SPRAY

Lightly mist your piercing with TouchByLuck Soothing Saline Spray. This gentle formula helps calm the skin, reduce inflammation, and promote faster, healthier healing.

LOCK IN HEALING WITH TOUCHBYLUCK HEALING OINTMENT

Finish by applying a small amount of TouchByLuck Healing Ointment around the piercing. This helps protect the area, support skin repair, and maintain moisture—use sparingly to avoid buildup.

This healing routine is best done at night or before sleeping, as your body heals better during rest. Following these steps will help ensure a smooth and healthy healing process for your new piercing.

TOUCHBYLUCK PIERCING AFTERCARE PROMO TAKE ONE

2016 I began my aftercare journey. Experimenting with different skin types and products! Through trial and era I discovered the diversity of skin. After years of mixing products, I have formulated a healing consistency in my aftercare products that appeal to the masses.

    What to look for?

    Inflammation Phase (Days 1-14)

    • Swelling, redness, and tenderness are normal.
    • Some light bleeding or clear lymphatic fluid may occur.
    • The body begins forming a protective barrier around the jewelry.

Healing & Regeneration Phase (Weeks to Months)

    • Swelling reduces, and the skin starts repairing itself.
    • A thin layer of skin (fistula) begins forming around the piercing.
    • Some itching and occasional discharge (whitish or clear) are common.

Maturation Phase (Months to a Year+)

    • The piercing fully strengthens and stabilizes.
    • Any minor irritation bumps or sensitivity should subside.
    • The fistula becomes more durable but still requires proper care.

    Pro Tips:
✔ Always follow proper aftercare, using a saline mist or gentle cleansing.
✔ Avoid unnecessary movement, touching, or changing jewelry too soon.
✔ Healing times vary—cartilage and navel piercings take longer than earlobes.

Piercing rejection happens when your body recognizes the jewelry as a foreign object and slowly pushes it out. Watch for these signs:

Jewelry Moving Closer to the Surface – If the piercing hole gets shallower, your body may be pushing it out.
Increased Redness Around the Piercing – Persistent redness that doesn’t improve could be a warning sign.
Thinning Skin Over the Jewelry – The skin covering the jewelry may become thinner, almost transparent.
Constant Irritation or Discomfort – If the area stays sore, itchy, or inflamed despite proper care, rejection could be starting.
Widening of the Piercing Hole – If the hole appears larger or elongated, the jewelry might be migrating.
Jewelry Hanging Looser Than Before – If the fit changes and feels looser, rejection may be occurring.

    💡 What to Do:
✔ Switch to high-quality titanium or biocompatible jewelry.
✔ Avoid trauma or excessive movement of the piercing.
✔ Keep up with proper aftercare (saline mist, no harsh cleaners).
✔ If rejection is severe, removing the jewelry may be the best option to avoid scarring.
